オーセンティックは、バンズの歴史の中で最初に登場したモデルです。

1966年のオープン初日、店頭には「#44」というスニーカーが並べられていて、
店に訪れた客は、その#44をベースに希望のサイズと色を選びオーダー。

このカスタムオーダーの受注生産が評価され、バンズはその名を広めていったそうです。
このカスタムオーダーのベースモデルである「#44」が、
のちにオーセンティック(AUTHENTIC)と名付けられリリースされました。

長い歴史ほぼ形が変わることなく愛され続けている名品です。
その履き心地の良さ、シンプルがらにも
完成されているデザイン性。
