【ヒエンヴァン陶器】

こちらは比較的新しいのですが、
古代陶器コレクターのマイ画家が、
11世紀のベトナム陶器の美しさを後世にも残したいと、
陶芸独学し、生まれた陶器。

マイ画家はその情熱を形にするため
90s後半にバニクン省エンヴァンコミューンに移り住み、
村民に陶芸・絵画・彫刻を伝授したのが始まりです。

2004年に最初の窯を建設。
つまり、このエンヴァン陶器は
マイ画家と村民の手によって生まれた陶器なのです。

骨董美術品、寺院の彫刻からインスピレーションを受け、
主に雲のモチーフが施されているのが特徴です。

濃淡で表現された
色たちは、唯一無二。

つやん、と美しい艶に反して
重みがあるデザインに目を惹かれます。
